Oman Opens New International Finance Hub in Muscat
A royal decree issued Monday by Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said established the Oman International Financial Centre, designed to transform Muscat into a magnet for international capital, according to a state news agency.
Officials said the initiative underscores Oman’s commitment to building “a reliable and effective environment with the aim of providing advanced financial services that meets the needs of global investors and institutions.”
The center will be located in Muscat’s Medinet al-Irfan district, with potential expansion to other sites as demand grows.
